Join Us for Christmas in the Village - December 11!

We are looking forward to Christmas in the Village on Saturday, December 11!

Schedule of Events:

  • Story Walk in downtown business windows sponsored by Mechanicsburg Public Library, all day
  • Mechanicsburg Lions Club Pancake Breakfast: 8-11 AM at Village Hall, $5 donation, proceeds support Lions Club projects
  • Cookie Cutter Bake Sale: 9 AM until after parade at Mechanicsburg United Methodist Church, proceeds support United Methodist Women mission projects
  • Arts & Crafts Show: 10 AM-3 PM at Masonic Temple and Fire House
  • Christmas Music by Area Music Students: 10 AM at 1858 Meeting House
  • Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides: 10:30 AM-1:30 PM from Fire House to Heritage
  • Crafts and Games: 11 AM-1:45 PM at Mechanicsburg Baptist Church
  • Read & Visit with the Grinch: 12 PM at Mechanicsburg Public Library
  • St. Nicholas Celebration: 11:30 AM-1:30 PM at Church of Our Saviour
  • Reynoldsburg Community Band: 12 PM at 1858 Meeting House
  • Mechanicsburg High School Marching Band: 1 PM at 1858 Meeting House
  • Read & Visit with Mrs. Claus: 1 PM at Mechanicsburg Public Library
  • Festive Carolers: 1-2 PM at various locations around town
  • Parade: 2 PM from Heritage to the School. Line up at Heritage at 1:30, please email [email protected] to RSVP
  • Visit with Santa & Mrs. Claus: after Parade until 3:30 at 1858 Meeting House
  • Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest: Judging at 2:45 PM at Fire House
  • Basket Raffle: Drawing at 3 PM at Fire House

We are looking for volunteers to help on the day of the event and parade participants. If you would like to help out and/or participate in the parade, please email [email protected]

Tree: Hurst Farms

Securing and setting up the tree: Class Landscaping, Tony Swank, Josh Moore, David Napper.

Decorations: OTM Members, Village employees, Mechanicsburg students and staff.

Consider a donation to Our Towne Mechanicsburg

Our Towne Mechanicsburg is funded primarily through donations, which allow OTM to organize Village improvement projects, and host many festivals throughout the year.

Being the driver behind economic growth in the Mechanicsburg area, Our Towne must seek donations from those in and outside the community.
